This is probablytheir best team since 1966 (Yes, I remember that team.) But I wonder howthey got hoodwinked into travelling to Kalamazoo for this game. MSU hasOregon of deck the following week and I find it impossible to believethey don’t have that contest on their minds more than this game. Theyalso lost their long time defensive coordinator, Pat Narduzzi.Conversely, do you have any idea how much this game means to WesternMichigan? This would be the biggest win in the school’s history. Idon’t know if they can pull off an outright upset, but they will hangin there. They have 9 offensive starters back, including some real starsin QB Zach Terrell, RB Jarvion Franklin, WRs Corey Davis and DanielBraverman.The defense has most of its front returning. They aren’t up to MSU’scaliber, but they are no pushovers, either. This is one of my teams thisseason. PJ Fleck will be coaching somewhere in a Power 5 conferencesomeday soon, but first he will take WMU to some lofty heights. I willeven throw a little on the money line. I think they have a shot ofwinning outright.
